MADISON (NBC 26) -- Wisconsin officials are providing another update on the response to coronavirus in the state.
12 more deaths related to coronavirus were reported Friday. As of Friday, a total of 990 people have died in Wisconsin from the virus.
989 new coronavirus cases were reported. The state now has a total of 58,768 confirmed cases of coronavirus, with 82% of those cases recovered. There are 9,516 active cases in Wisconsin.
During a news briefing, officials with the Department of Health Services say they will explore new data elements on the DHS COVID-19 website.
