Wisconsin reports zero COVID-19 deaths, less than 500 tests returned positive

WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — State health officials reported zero COVID-19 deaths Sunday afternoon, leaving the total at 6,412 people in Wisconsin to have died in relation to the virus.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) said 464 out of 3,762 COVID-19 tests returned positive. This is 12.3% positive tests returned versus Saturday's 17.7% positive tests.

Recorded aross the state there is 7,721 active cases, a decrease of over 300 cases since Saturday according to the DHS. Almost 550,000 people who initially tested positive for the virus have since recovered.

Hospitalizations increased by 39, bringing the state total to 26,127 people to ever be hospitalized with the virus. The DHS said there is currently 309 people in the hospital with 89 in ICU.
