Wisconsin reports jump in cases on Thursday, the largest since June 4

MADISON (NBC 26) -- For the first time since June 4, Wisconsin has reported more than 400 new coronavirus cases in one day.

New numbers released from the state Department of Health Services show Wisconsin saw 422 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday. The percent positive rate for coronavirus test results went up to 4%, the highest it's been for the past 14 days.

10,177 tests came back negative.

Wisconsin's coronavirus death toll went up by seven on Thursday. The total number of people who have died from coronavirus in Wisconsin is now 719.
