Wisconsin health officials reported 5,146 new positive COVID-19 cases, for a total of almost 68,500 currently active cases across the state.
The Department of Health Services (DHS) said there was almost 19,000 COVID-19 tests returned Saturday.
As of Friday the seven-day average of positive tests by person was 36.5%. This number accounts for each person only once, no matter how many times they get tested.
Another 52 deaths were recorded, bringing the state total to 2,625 people who have died in relation to the virus.
Hospitalizations increased by 181 for a total of 14,226 people in Wisconsin to ever be hospitalized with coronavirus.
