MADISON (NBC 26) -- New numbers of coronavirus in Wisconsin were high again Friday.
The state Department of Health Services reported 4,378 new cases of COVID-19 Friday. The seven day average was 3,470.
This brings the state total number of confirmed cases to 190,478. There are currently 39,163 active cases in the state.
The number of people ever hospitalized due to the virus reached a new milestone Friday. The new number is now 10,038, an increase of 183.
The states death toll related to coronavirus is now 1,745, an increase of 42.
