Wisconsin health officials reported 3,507 out of almost 15,000 COVID-19 tests returned positive Sunday afternoon.

The state Department of Health Services (DHS) said the 7-day average of tests per person was at 29.7% as of Saturday's numbers, continuing the downward trend. This percentage only includes each person once across the duration of the pandemic no matter how many times they are tested for the virus.

The DHS said 78% of people who tested positive for coronavirus have since recovered. An estimated 75,035 cases remain active across Wisconsin.

No new deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported since the count passed 3,000 people on Saturday.

Hospitalizations increased by 89 for a total of 15,823 people in the state with the virus to ever be hospitalized.
