MADISON (NBC 26) -- Wisconsin reported lower numbers related to coronavirus in the state on Monday.
The state Department of Health Services reported 455 new cases of COVID-19 in the state, the lowest number of new cases in the past fourteen days. The number of tests in general were low, with 5,507 test results coming back negative.
The percentage of tests that returned a positive result dropped Monday to 7.6%. It was 11.2% on Sunday.
The state also reported no new deaths related to coronavirus on Monday.
There are now 66,196 total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin, with 85% of those cases listed as recovered and 8,537 cases currently active in the state.
