Wis. reports 676 COVID-19 tests returned positive, 17 deaths recorded

WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — Health officials reported 676 out of almost 5,000 COVID-19 tests returned positive Saturday afternoon.

The state Department of Health Services (DHS) recorded another 17 deaths for a total of 6,284 people to have died in relation to the virus.

The DHS said there is a recorded 9,318 cases still active across the state. This is a decrease of over 250 since Friday.

Hospitalizations increased by 81, bringing the state total to 25,716 people to ever be hospitalized with the virus.
