Wisconsin continues to move forward with the vaccine rollouts with several Ascension Wisconsin COVID-19 vaccination clinics expanding access to the vaccine to patients who are age 65 and older this week. This is all in accordance with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services guidelines.
"A lot have talked about things that they've missed. Missing family, seeing events with families, things like that. So, we recognize that there's still a lot of people that need their vaccine, but we're just really happy that we can support this grouping,” said Jen Van Abel Supervisor of Clinic Operations.
Thursday marked the first day of vaccinating for the new group of patients allowed to get the vaccine. Patients will have to come back in a few weeks for the second vaccine.
