Prevea has established an upper respiratory care center in Ashwaubenon.

Prevea stated Thursday in a news release that the Prevea Ashwaubenon Health Center, 2502 S. Ashland Ave., has transitioned into a dedicated center for patients experiencing upper respiratory symptoms.

The purpose of creating a separate center Is to prevent the spread of illness during the coronavirus pandemic, and to better protect patients and staff. Anyone experiencing upper respiratory symptoms and wishing to get help at a Prevea location in the Green Bay area should use the Prevea Ashwaubenon Health Center. It is open for walk-in care 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

People not experiencing upper respiratory symptoms, but are in need of care in the Green Bay area, should use the following locations:

· Prevea East De Pere Health Center – 3860 Monroe Road, De Pere

· Prevea East Mason Health Center – 3021 Voyager Drive, Green Bay

· Prevea Howard Health Center – 2793 Lineville Road, Green Bay

· Prevea Lawrence Drive Health Center – 1601 Lawrence Drive, De Pere

This comes after Bellin Health also opened a new respiratory clinic in De Pere.

Health officials say it's meant to separate individuals with respiratory, cold and flu like symptoms. It also helps Bellin preserve its supply of masks and gloves by having work done at the single clinic.

The Bellin respiratory clinic also accepts walk-in patients but calling ahead is strongly preferred.
