New update on coronavirus in Wisconsin after stay-at-home orders lifted

Out of almost 5,000 tests for COVID-19, only 144 new cases were reported Monday in Wisconsin, less than 3 percent. Two weeks ago, over 8.5 percent of the tests were coming back positive for the virus.

The Governor and state officials brief the public on coronavirus in the state. It comes after some counties in Wisconsin pulled back their stay-at-home orders.

There are now 12,687 cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin, an increase of 144 from Sunday. The number of people who have died from coronavirus is now at 459 as of Monday afternoon.

Monday's increase in cases is smaller than what was reported over the weekend. Wisconsin health officials on Saturday reported more than 500 new cases of the coronavirus.
