Front line workers can receive a free meal from McDonald's from April 22 to May 5.

McDonald's announced Tuesday that health care workers and first responders could get a free "Thank You Meal" from Milwaukee-area restaurants until May 5.

Health care workers, police officers, firefighters and paramedics can redeem a breakfast, lunch or dinner meal by showing their work badge or showing up in uniform.

“As local business owners, we know that our communities need us now more than ever and we’re committed to continuing to serve them,” said Marshall Chay, a Milwaukee McDonald's owner and operator. “We are proud to be able support our neighbors who are on the front lines as first responders and healthcare workers with Thank You Meals.”
