New data shows high number of negative coronavirus tests Tuesday in Wisconsin

The percent positive rate for coronavirus tests in Wisconsin is the lowest it's been in 14 days, according to new data from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

New numbers released Tuesday show the number of negative test results was high, with 11,531 test results coming back negative. There were 263 new coronavirus cases reported Tuesday.

On Tuesday, five new coronavirus deaths were reported, resulting in a total of 750 deaths in Wisconsin related to coronavirus.

Governor Tony Evers, Wisconsin DHS Secretary-designee Andrea Palm, Dr. Ryan Westergaard, and Ryan Nilsestuen provided an update on coronavirus in the state.
