The Fox Cities COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will reopen registration to the public on Tuesday, Outagamie County officials announced in a news release.
Those remaining on the wait list who have a February 16 appointment should have received a confirmation email over the weekend. The email would have come from “Fox Cities COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic” with the subject line: “You Have A COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment…”
Appointment recipients also should have received an automated phone call, asking them to check their email inbox for the confirmation email. If someone received a phone message but did not see an email, it may be because it was sent to a Junk or Other folder, or the email address provided had a typo. If this is the case, you can contact the clinic at fccvc@appleton.org.
Recipients who have already received their vaccine elsewhere, or need to decline their appointment for other reasons, will have the ability to cancel within the email, the news release says. However, if they cancel their assigned appointment, they will need to wait until additional appointments are available and reschedule at www.foxcitiescovidvaccine.com.
Due to limited vaccine supply, the clinic’s communication team will make a concerted effort to reach those who do not have internet access and people of color who are 65 or older living in the tri-county region.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, communities of color have experienced higher rates of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths since the pandemic began.
Beginning Tuesday, those without internet access can call 920-399-2550 to schedule an appointment.
