The Fox Cities Clinic began vaccinating adults aged 65 and older Tuesday against coronavirus.
Vaccine recipients must have an appointment and would have received a phone call by Outagamie County staff over the weekend to confirm their appointment.
“Today's day one and we hope to scale this up with more vaccines. So, in the month of March and April and May, I suspect this site will be operational through the summer as demand warrants it. We really anticipate a much larger vaccine (supply) coming to our state, at least by April/May that we can really ramp this up and make it even more available,” explained Kurt Eggebrecht, Appleton Public Health Officer.
Reminder: walk-ins are not allowed. You need to have an appointment setup in order to receive the vaccine.
