WISCONSIN — Wisconsin health officials said this is the fourth day in a row that over 2,000 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded. They said tests came back at 27.6% positive.

The state Department of Health services reported 2,217 new coronavirus cases were recorded Sunday. This comes a day after Wisconsin had a record high of over 2,800 COVID-19 cases in a day.

According to the department, an estimated 19,050 cases across the state are considered active. The recovery percentage dropped a little to 82.4%.

Zero new deaths related to the virus were reported.

Hospitalizations increased by 54 people, bringing the state total to 7,095 people ever hospitalized with the virus.
