FOND DU LAC (NBC 26) — New numbers were released Tuesday on the vaccination efforts in Wisconsin.
According to the DHS, nearly 1.9 million doses have now been allocated to Wisconsin. Almost 1.5 million of those doses have been administered.
Right now, health officials in Fond du Lac are prioritizing educators and childcare workers. Officials say the speed of that process depends on how much vaccine they can get.
“And again, I’m not picky. Give me any vaccine and I will take it and I will work to vaccinate our residents,” said Kim Mueller, Fond du Lac County Health Department Health Officer.
The health department has been in contact with schools who have people eligible.
