Wisconsin reports 1,052 new coronavirus cases Thursday

MADISON (NBC 26) -- Wisconsin has once again reported more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases in a single day, the second day this week such numbers were reported.

New data from the state Department of Health Services shows 1,052 new coronavirus cases reported Thursday. The number of newly reported deaths was 13, leaving a total of 878 deaths related to coronavirus in the state.

Wisconsin now has 45,899 confirmed cases, with about 77% of those cases marked as recovered. There are currently 9,285 active coronavirus cases in the state.
