BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) -- Brown County reported a total of 2,329 coronavirus cases Friday, with the Oneida Nation reporting 45. The total number of cases is an increase of eight.
As of Friday, 25 people in Brown County have been hospitalized due to the virus. A total of 791 people are out of isolation, meaning they no longer pose a threat of spreading the virus.
Thirty-six people have died from the virus in Brown County.
These numbers released Friday are from media briefings that the county is now ending. After Friday, county officials asks the public to refer to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for more information.
Brown County has been a hot spot for coronavirus in Wisconsin, with DHS data showing Brown County has the second highest number of cases in the state.
