Appleton reports two more cases of coronavirus

APPLETON (NBC 26) -- The City of Appleton is confirming two more cases of coronavirus in the city.

The city says the Appleton Health Department received notice Friday of two additional residents testing positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 30. The city says both residents live in the Winnebago County portion of the city. Each case is the result of community spread. One resident is in isolation at home, the other resident is hospitalized.

As for the other coronavirus cases, the city says there are currently 19 residents in isolation. 10 residents who had COVID-19 have been released from isolation. One resident has passed away from the virus.

The city says the health department continues to follow-up on cases.
