Wisconsin reported 601 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, continuing a trend of high numbers seen in recent days. High coronavirus numbers are also being reported across the country.
While the number of new coronavirus cases in Wisconsin was the highest it's been over the past fourteen days, Tuesday's numbers also saw a high number of negative test results.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), 12,180 coronavirus tests came back negative on Tuesday.
After a couple of days without any reported deaths, Wisconsin DHS reported seven new deaths on Tuesday, bringing the state's death total to 784.
The percent of cases resulting in hospitalization dropped slightly on Tuesday to 12%.
