What's in that glass of water you're drinking? Too much that shouldn't be, according to the Environmental Working Group.
The group reviewed the data from 48,000 water facilities in all 50 states from 2010 to 2015 looking for 500 different contaminants.
It found 267 of them in the water supply.
Technically, the levels are legal under the Safe Drinking Water Act, but they're above what studies have shown to be possible health risks.
Things like cancer, brain and nervous system damage and developmental issues.
EWG recommends using a filter on your tap water and said even bottled water could be suspect because makers don't have to disclose contaminant levels.
