A consultant has advised Brown County leaders to tear down the Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena.
The study was done by AECOM, and was based on information as of January 2017.
After analyzing, the study recommended replacing the arena, but keeping the Shopko Hall structure to be incorporated into a new facility.
"Many of their events are outgrowing the facilities, others have already left the facilities due to their lack of space, and the physical offerings in the facilities are often inadequate for events," said AECOM in the report.
Some of the reasoning includes outdated facilities, lack of sufficient restrooms and concession offerings and Wi-Fi service.
Brown County leaders say their options are to keep the current building, renovate it or demolish and rebuild on the site.
