Congressman Mike Gallagher visited Grand Chute Friday to discuss the importance of "cyber hygiene," or being smart online to protect yourself.
Online protection is more important than ever, especially as the nation grapples with numerous hacking attempts allegedly by Russian agents.
Gallagher said Friday that Russia is no friend to the United States.
"Putin has proven time and again that he does not share our interests," Congressman Gallagher said. "What he's doing in Eastern Ukraine to re-draw the borders of Europe at gunpoint, what he's done in Syria to run roughshod over red lines, what the Russians have done in terms of meddling in our own and undermining basic trust in our own democracy is incredibly troubling."
Congressman Gallagher said it's time for the House to pass the Senate's bill to strengthen sanctions against Russia.
