If you're hoping to celebrate by getting a head start on your garden and do something to benefit the earth you may want to try composting.
It's a simply concept, but there are do's and don'ts to the process.
The Brown County Port and Resource Recovery Department offers a program where the public is welcome to drop off organic waste, free of charge. The program is part of a partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
The Brown County UW-Extension is just one of those three locations in the area.
