A non-profit in Appleton is spreading some cheer to the people they serve. Compassionate Home Health Care is holding its annual Holiday Giving Campaign. They have nearly 50 donation buckets set-up around Northeast Wisconsin, and they're holding fundraising events at area businesses and bars.
They're collecting personal care items and cleaning supplies to give to their clients who are elderly, disabled or have special needs and are living on fixed incomes.
"This is our sixth year. It was very small then, and this year it went from 30 homes that we supported to 300 homes. People want to be a part of helping people in the community. Our tag line is 'A Community that Cares,'" said CEO Dawn Paradiso-Hansen.
