People living near the Avery Salvage Yard in Mishicot are split about the effort to free Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey. Mary and Norbert Boncher live two miles from the property. "He was found guilty and they've got to find some real good evidence to get him out," Norbert Boncher told us.
News on an appeal for Avery and a motion to have him released on bond worries the couple. "Make sure our doors are locked and if we saw him on the street, we sure would avoid him," Mary Boncher explained.
But others like Joshua Matz are not concerned. "I don't judge a book by its cover."
