It's officially safe-boating week and right here in Green Bay. People are helping make sure your boat is ready to go.
On Saturday, the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Green Bay held an open house for boaters and the community.
Auxillerist came check the boat and make sure the boat has all the safety equipment.
"People who are born after 1989, need to have a boaters safety class in order to be in compliance with the regulations in the state of Wisconsin,” said Peter Gapinski, U.S. Coast Guard
