Clerk receives minor injuries after robbery in Kimberly

KIMBERLY, Wis—Police are investigating a robbery at a BP gas station.

Fox Valley Metro Police were called to the Kimberly Avenue store around 10:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Officers say the suspect robbed the store while armed with a hammer and a knife.

The clerk was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries after being struck by the handle of the hammer.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

A K-9 track was completed but unsuccessful.
