At one fire station in Green Bay, the fire trucks are gone and so are the firefighters, because the fire station flooded.

On Monday night, the entire parking lot plus the first floor of the station was under two feet of water.

All crew members who were working at this fire station left Monday night to help people who were trapped in flood waters. Fire Chief Dave Sitton said once the crews returned to the station, they noticed the bottom level was flooded.

On Tuesday, crews spent all day pumping out water. As of now, the station still doesn't have power. The 6 crew members who are normally stationed at this location are spread out and are staying at different stations.

Sitton says he does not know when the station will be back up and running. The chief also says it should not affect response times for any emergencies in the area.  He says they divided the coverage up with other stations to make sure they can get to emergencies as fast as possible.

Fire officials say no firefighters were hurt during the flooding and rescues Monday night.
