The Civil War returns to Green Bay this weekend as part of a reenactment at Heritage Hill.
Saturday, soldiers acted out the Battle of Brawner's Farm and the Battle of South Mountain.
The soldiers say they take a lot of pride in the roles and the battles they put on.
"It really made a name for the soldiers that we represent," soldier Scott Boesel said. "They were part of a larger group called the Iron Brigade, and it's basically a nickname that they earned at the series of battles that we're re-creating this weekend."
The reenactments continue Sunday with new battles and a performance by the regimental band of Wisconsin.
