The City of Green Bay is asking for the public’s input about plans for the redevelopment of Velp Avenue on the city's west side.
Planners shared their vision and goals for the project at a meeting Wednesday evening.
So far, they’ve indentified four potential sites for redevelopment.
City officials and planners were on hand to answer questions or concerns people had going forward.
"The importance of having this for a redevelopment plan to thrive and work for the neighborhood, we need their input, and we have to develop it in a way that best fits them," said Mark Lyons, a planner for the City of Green Bay.
Another public meeting will be held in April or May where they hope to finalize the project.
