Local children fighting cancer got a different kind of challenge to overcome Saturday - an obstacle course.
The kids ran, climbed, and slid through the course in Appleton.
It's designed by thirteen-year-old Cole Stoffel.
He said that he started this event a few years ago..after his teacher died of brain cancer.
"We had gone to something where a pediatric cancer patient, when they're done with treatment, they ring a bell," Stoffel explained. "That's what they do when they go to the top of the wall, they ring a bell."
Saturday's obstacle course races benefits the Snowdrop Foundation of Wisconsin. They're a group providing scholarships for college bound cancer patients and survivors.
