A child car seat checkup event is planned for Tuesday night in Neenah.
The Wisconsin Information Network for Safety is hosting the event.
You can stop out and a certified child passenger safety technician will check car seats for recalls, expiration dates, and proper installation.
The correct use of safety seats can reduce the risk of death as much as 71%.
"Three out of four seats are put in incorrectly, so we want to make sure the child is put in their seat correctly and put in the car correctly so if they're in a crash they have a better chance of survival," said Sarah Ceccon, of Safe Kids Fox Valley.
The car seat check starts at 4 p.m. and runs through 7 p.m. in the Kohl's Department Store parking lot at their Neenah location.
