A community comes together to remember Michael Funk. Funk was a hostage during a standoff with police in a Neenah motorcycle shop.

Officers though he was a suspect when he left Eagle Nation Cycles with a gun and shot him.

The officers in the shooting have been cleared of wrongdoing.

While court cases play themselves out, Funk's friends just want to celebrate his life.

"I just think he was a really great guy, a disabled veteran, just a fantastic guy and I know he's missed by everybody here," said Steven Erato, Eagle Nation Cycles owner.

Brian Flatloff is accused of holding Funk hostage. That case is still making its way through the justice system.
