For the 22 year, the Brown County community celebrated Doctor Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday with a special program.
The event was held at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College on Green Bay's west side.
It featured live dance and musical performances. Event organizers say it helps get people of many different backgrounds together to celebrate unity.
"Well I think that sometimes people, when we get back into our own communities, we may not see a lot of diversity. We may see the same individuals who look and think like us. So coming to an event like this reminds you that it's much bigger than what you think," said NWTC director of diversity and inclusion, Mohammed Bey.
The program's theme was Unity in the Community.
