Cassandra Duvall says goodbye to NBC26

Posted

NBC26 anchor, Cassandra Duvall has some bittersweet news to share with viewers. September 26 will be Cassandra’s last day with the station. She has been with NBC26 for nearly seven years. She worked her way up from reporter, to weekend anchor then eventually to the 10:00 p.m. newscast.

While this was a difficult decision, Cassandra is happy to say that she is staying in Northeast Wisconsin. She will be taking a job in Public Relations with ThedaCare, where she will be able to spend more time with her family.

NBC26 wishes Cassandra the very best.

Read Cassandra’s message to viewers:

This was a very difficult decision, but at this time, it is the right decision for me and my family. With my current schedule, I rarely get to see my little ones during the evening and they need more “mommy time”. I’m so thankful that I will finally be with them for dinner, baths and bedtime! I will forever be a journalist and love this career, but my children will always come first.

I cannot even begin to describe what this job has meant to me. When I started here nearly seven years ago, I never imagined this would grow to become our home -- but it has. We love the Green Bay area and feel so blessed to be a part of this community. I learned more in my seven years here than I ever thought possible. I will always value the memories I have from NBC26. And it goes without saying, that I'll miss the wonderful people I’ve worked with.

I also want to say thank you to the viewers. Thank you for allowing me to share stories with you for the last seven years and welcoming us into the wonderful community. And most of all -- thank you for making Northeast Wisconsin our home.
