A car, believed to have been used in the armed robbery of a CVS pharmacy in Appleton, has been found in Indiana.
The robbery happened on Friday, April 20th just before 11:30pm. Pharmacy employees told police that three men entered the CVS on the 700 block of West Wisconsin Avenue and robbed them at gunpoint. The suspects got away with a large amount of stolen prescription drugs.
Police say the car they believe was used in the robbery, a 2008 Chevy Impala with an Indiana license plate, has been found in Indiana with the help of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. It has been impounded and placed in police custody.
The Appleton Police Department has now turned the investigation over to the Green Bay office of the FBI, but they will continue to assist them.
