Ed Kletzien of Sheboygan Falls a 15 year customer of Maplewood Meats.
“We make the trip every year" says Ed Kletzien Sheboygan Falls. "From here until probably until Christmas it's going to be flooded with people bringing in their venison" Brad Van Hemelryk, Plant Manager.

"We have all types of products from brautwurst to smoke sausages about 25 to 30 different products that you can take from here with venison" says Van Hemelryk.
Keeping the meat in a refrigerator is best and this year hunters are trying a new meat trend. 'Bacon has been very very popular. A lot of different flavor items, breakfast items, apple cinnamon, breakfast links blueberry maple breakfast links" says Van Hemelryk.
But for some hunters like Kletzien "Usually stick with the good ol' summer sausage, snack sticks and brats.”
Its all about sticking with the basics.
