The annual burger fest kicked off with a parade downtown. People from all over the country were able to enjoy burgers and even head down the ketchup slide.
One family said they travel from Milwaukee each year just to take in the festivities.
Seymour claims to be the birthplace of the hamburger. The event's website says it happened back in 1885. Each year chefs cook up a large hamburger at the festival to celebrate the birth.
