ALLOUEZ, WI -- Brown County Republicans say they appreciated the substance in Tuesday night's Vice Presidential debate.

But, they also had their complaints, particularly with the Democratic candidate.

Governor Mike Pence supporters say they felt Senator Tim Kaine tried to talk all over the Governor.

Others feel some of the best exchanges between candidates were cut short by the moderator.

But as far as Pence's performance, and demeanor,  Republicans say they're impressed.

"Temperament has been a topic lately, right? And I think that we can see that Pence certainly is geared for a Vice Presidential position," says Republican Party of Brown Co. Vice Chair Kelly Ruh, "and, hearing what Kaine has to say tonight, and just how he's saying it... we're just very pleased with what we're seeing from Pence."

Political experts say one of Pence's toughest challenges would be walking a fine line in his defense of Donald Trump's policies, and, at times, controversial statements.
