A Brown County employee charged with several methamphetamine charges will receive new legal representation and a new judge will preside over the case.

Dale Leonard was in court for a planned arraignment hearing Monday morning. However, citing a conflict of interest, a judge has ordered the case to be heard in a different branch of Brown County Court and a new attorney will be brought in to assist in Leonard's defense.

The charges against Leonard include two counts of delivery of Methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of drug paraphernalia used to produce or store methamphetamine.

Leonard is a case worker with Brown County and is on unpaid administrative leave.
