Broadwind Energy has received a $28 million in new tower order from a U.S. wind turbine manufacturer. Broadwind will produce the towers in its Manitowoc facility for 2016 delivery.
“Our experienced team in Manitowoc has built more than 2,000 wind towers since 2008 for multiple customers," said Broadwind interim CEO Stephanie Kushner. "We continue to be in late-stage discussions to fill the remaining capacity for 2016 and beyond."
