WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Wis. - Brian Flatoff will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars after sentencing Wednesday.
A judge sentenced the 50-year-old Flatoff to 100 years in prison.
The judge told Flatoff the purpose of the sentencing is so Flatoff will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Flatoff was convicted of 14 charges in March, including a murder, for causing the death of hostage Michael Funk during a December 2015 standoff in Neenah.
The officer who shot Michael Funk and his wife spoke at sentencing.
Funk's family did not speak.
