Dennis Branter is sentenced today, but it's not for the 1990 murder of Berit Beck.
He'll serve six years in prison for drug charges, and an additional eleven years of extended supervision.
Brantner was the defendant in the Berit Beck murder trial that ended with a hung jury.
The District Attorney in that case says they're considering a retrial.
