Detectives from the Stockbridge- Munsee Police Department reports the bomb squad was called to an apartment today after a suspicious item was found.
Police say it started as a suspicious complaint at an apartment in the Village of Gresham in Shawano County around 4:20 PM.
Officers arrived on scene and determined the item was possibly an explosive device. The area was immediately evacuated.
The Brown-Outagamie Bomb Squad was called and took possession of the suspected explosive device.
An investigation is now ongoing.
