A boat was still stuck in the Neenah Dam Wednesday after a water rescue on July 3.
The boat cannot be removed until a survey of the damage is done, according to Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue.
Normally the Army Corps of Engineers would assess the damage. However, because the dam is privately owned by Neenah Paper, the company will have to hire someone to do the survey and work with the boat owner for its removal.
Authorities are still investigating if the three men onboard during Monday's incident will be held responsible.
