One of Green Bay's most dependable volunteers is turning 101-years-old, but Blanche Baudhuin is showing no signs of slowing down. Baudhuin volunteers about 24 hours a month at the registration desk at the Red Cross blood donation center. She says it's the little things that have kept her coming back for over 40 years.
"I enjoy the people. I enjoy sitting back at the desk and visiting with the people when they come in, find something wrong with them, tell them what's right with them," said Baudhuin.
A blood drive will be held in honor of Blanche's birthday on Monday, March 13th from 11:30am to 5:30pm at Faith Lutheran Church located at 2235 South Webster Avenue in Green Bay.
