The first person to cross the finish line in this year's 40th annual Bellin Run was olympian Meb Keflezighi.
No stranger to the Bellin Run finished the 10k race with a time of 30:07.
Risper Gesabwa was the first woman to finish the race. She completed it with a time of 34:20.

Participants had the option of deferring their race entry to next year based on the expected heat today. Over 16,000 people were registered to run, but the final numbers may differ based on who decided to wait until next year.
Race organizers had been planning in the days leading up to the race for the expected weather by adding extra water, cooling stations, and misting stations along the race route. Extra medical professionals were also staffed for today's race.
For the past several days, medical professionals with Bellin were also urging runners to be diligent with hydrating.
