The worlds largest sauerkraut cannery, GLK Foods LLC is facing nearly $150,000 in fines from the Federal Department of Labor. According to OSHA documents the cannery failed to protect employees by having equipment to prevent falls. Last year a 35-year-old man fell more than 17 feet into an empty sauerkraut vat suffering serious injuries.
